High-quality via ferrata in the mountains of the Wagrain-Kleinarl region
Climbing professionals will find three different via ferrata on the Peilsteinpalfen in the Wagrain-Kleinarls mountain world. The even simpler via ferrata Tatzlwurm is ideal for families, while the via ferrata Kesselfall already has a higher degree of difficulty. Close to rushing waterfalls of the Kesselbach, however, this via ferrata is a real highlight during the climbing holiday in Wagrain. The ferrata Kleinarler Luftikus at the Penkkopf of the Radstädter Tauern proves to be particularly challenging. Slippery to slightly overhanging rock walls, a short rope bridge over a small gorge and steep vertical passages and bracket crossings. Exactly right, for climbers who are looking for the challenge on the rocks. Mountain lovers who prefer to stay on firm ground explore the Wagrain-Kleinarl holiday region from numerous hiking trails. With 140 kilometres of marked routes, every hiker has the right route.
Adventurous climbing at the Flying Fox and in the high ropes course
The Flying Fox course in the Kesselfall Gorge combines climbing pleasure on the via ferrata and exciting descents via zip lines in an ideal way. In wildly romantic nature and past two waterfalls, the Kesselfall Gorge is the ideal setting for your adventure sport in Wagrain-Kleinarl. Slightly less daring climbers will also find the perfect place to progress together in the heights of demanding team stations and team-high rope elements in the two high rope gardens in Kleinarl and Wagrain. With the Salzburger Sportwelt Card, you also get attractive offers for climbing in Wagrain-Kleinarl.
